
This is a Maya tool I wrote using MEL scripting for generating a wide range of procedurally generated structures. I made this for an assignment in a Technical Animation class in college. The idea was to create background assets for urban and city environments, or anywhere that low-poly buildings would be needed.
It generates 5 different types of structures, all with a variety of random variables to make each one unique. In the screenshot to the left you can see the variance created with just the 5 structure types. For instance, the green and the orange building in the lower left corner of the screenshot are both generated from the same structure.
