About Me
My name is Andrew Horobin, welcome to my website! I am a professional software programmer and prototyper with experience in games, 3D simulations, and VR/XR technologies. I love working with 3D geometry, procedurally generated content, and vector graphics code. My specialty is creating interactive experiences with Unity and C#, and I have experience 3D modeling and building tools in Autodesk Maya. I’ve worked at Unity Technologies, High Fidelity, Heartwood, and Meta.
As a hobbyist I love building physical things, often with Arduino microcontrollers and addressable LED strips to create colorful lighting displays. I also have extensive experience with 3D printing, including maintenance, repair, and upgrading, as well as technical 3D modeling for printing in Autodesk Fusion and Sketchup.
My personal and professional objective is to create awesome stuff, and to never stop learning and improving.
On my home page you can find many projects that I’ve worked on over the years, including assignments from back in my college days all the way up to recent professional experiences.
